Hi Dave, this model is more than 30 years old, the photos are taken a few years ago.
So dont forget there are not the helpers we have to day as setter and softener.
The complete surface of the Marauder is finished with rubnbuff a metallic wax, at that time something new.

this is in memoriam to my brother who died 1984_06_27
it is one of his last models, the old airfix kit not oldfashioned at that time
one of the best.
