Everyone knows about this "Spitfire" tank except for me. It my understanding that these parts go INSIDE the fuselage...already this build is taking me by surprise.

Do you like that piece of photo etch there? You know, the brass colored thing? I don't.

Another one of these so called, "Interior" components. To describe this part, my brother pronounced a few words that sounded like "en-gin" and "moe-tor".

Ok. So, I looked on the web about this thing. "Engine" is the word. This served as a powerplant for this particular, esoteric tank. It was made by Rolls-Rice, and was called "The Merlin" after a type of fish.

A model company makes a color specifically called "cockpit green"...I hope what you see here is what that color was intended for. It says IJN on it...I can only assume they were part of the RAF...otherwise, how would I be able to paint this color?

Album image #8
These tank guns were measured in odd units. The four smaller guns are 50 Calorie Machine Pistols by Brownie. The two larger weapons were 20 millimeats a piece, produced by Espanol.

The final step before I put the tracks on and seal it up!
