A special thanks to John E from Scotts Valley. Without his help I would not have been able to find replacement landing gear and be able to post these pictures.

Thanks Es-haq. My daughter loves the old propeller planes and flies the C-130J. This is really her plane which I have fixed to keep the memory of her model building alive. I only wish she had not dull coated over the canopies. I think she was inspired by the displays in the United States Air Force Museum to build this aircraft.

How old was she when she made that? That is really nice! 🙂

Jenny Hitzges is 34 now. She graduated High school in 2000 and graduated from Embry-Riddle in 2004. She then became an instructor. Shortly after that the student failed to relinquish the controls and the plane crashed. She had a ruptured spleen and opposing broken wrist and ankle. I know she built models during her recovery, but she might have built this one earlier that that. So she was in her 20s when she built this model. In addition to this airplane she also gave me a Boeing 747-400, which she describes as her dream airplane to fly as a kid. Thanks Es-haq for asking.

Really interesting! Thanks to be so kind and letting us to know that. 🙂
I hope both she and her student are OK now. 🙂

Es-Haq unfortunately her student died in the plane crash. My daughter went to work as a nanny in Tennessee for two younger girls and lived in the hanger of the two pilot parents. Later she got a job as a pilot with Pinnacle Air and the Rhode Island Air National Guard. Hopefully not too much information.

Julian, thanks for your comment.

Es-Haq, Jenny is fine and has even run a few marathons. I think she still has a pin in her ankle.
John Thomas, thank you.
