Good job Hunter. I really like the way you merged the whitewash coat to the rust/dirt on the front.

Martyn,
I have been looking for the book and yes hairspray I used white and 3 shades of grey
Wayne,
thank you very much. I lightly splattered different brown colors and added some red here and there

seems to be an older kit... Tamiya or Zvezda maybe? some PE for the grills would be the kicker, but I guess a black wash on there would be easiest fix right now...
with some rust on the exhaust pipes you´re good to go 👍

Looks pretty good Hunter, and i second what Fabian said add a black wash to the grills to add some depth to them and that i think will really add to the appeal of this kit good job on the white wash

You've got a good thing going there, Hunter! 👍 Very nice!!
Indeed, I third what Fabian and William said. Some (pin) washes and work on the exhaust area would really be the icing on the cake 👍
And the books Martyn referred to, the TankArt books by Rinaldi, are indeed VERY good! I can also recommend getting those! Unfortunately they are quite hard to get at the moment (Vol.1 and 2 sold out in most shops, Vol.3 not published yet).
Anyway, great job, Hunter! 👍 👍

Ahh.. that kit... with the old rear grill... the new rear grill doesn't fit too well, (as far as I heared) but got PE mesh.
Looking forward to you results aswell 🙂

definetly an improvent, the figure is looking good, apart from looking a bit pale, but who would´t in that cold ? 😉
you could still add a bit more variation by painting the ice cleats on the fenders in a rusty/steel tone

Album info
Hi all,
This is my first go at a T-34 and at doing a white wash. I do have to thant Matthias Weiss for helping me with the winter techniques and giving me the hell I needed with his technique.
for the weathering I used Ammo of Migjiminez (I will do a review of their pigment, paint, and enamel weathering products.) Enjoy!!
