As usual, we start with the cockpit.
A lot of work os needed to look at least bit decent.
On the MB Mk.6, I drilled a hole in the middle for the belts, added copper wire for the ejection handles.
From some photos I fished, I added some extra wiring, handle, and rivets. Those will show better with painting.
The tub is ajust empty. Using styrene sheet, I added side panels and detailed it using my riveter and a pin. Used some sprue for the thrust handle.
Thats it for now.

I spend some time improving the look of the cockpit. It is not ready 100% but you'll get the picture.

Alot of time was spent with putty on one hand and flexifile on the other!
Filling, sanding, filling sanding... finally I think I'm ok.
The cockpit area is finished, and next step is to glue in place the wind shield, so I can add a couple minor details to wrap it up.
I need to rescribe a lot of detail lost in sanding, and some that wasn't there in he first place (due to the kits age)
Hope to get to post an update sooner this time!

Finally, This project's coming to an end.
Yesterday applied the decals. I think its a beautiful aircraft and is looking great in those colours.
Later today, I will complete the build by attaching the landing gear, just leaving the tank, missiles and canopy for last, after applying wash, filters and weathering.
Cheers
