It was tough to choose a color for this one. Was looking to go classic with an antique white, camel yellow or seaside blue. Pulling off a professional gloss with a lighter tone seems tough with some of these paints. Any tips for future projects appreciated. This was a fun one to build. I will probably look for a similar kit in the future. I will be using a Miami/seaside/bright blue on something.
Kit tips:
-Frame somewhat difficult to align due to its 2 piece construction.
-Front suspension and steering link were difficult to get aligned. A possible mistake in positioning the wheel hubs.
-Most parts molded in black but luckily the body is molded in white. It was too cold when I did the primer and paint, didn't remove enough before a respray on drivers side to achieve a flawless finish.
Color: Testors Extreme Lacquer - GOLD over Rustoleum 2X flat black primer.
