forgot to work out I’m going to paint the spare wheel ?
Grey / black primer and attempted flick effect on seats
First decals added
Bit of texture added to simulate worn slicks
Initial texture but too rough so softened
Looking better more like worn slicks
Ready for blue metallic splash of colour
DayGlo orange added to underside of spoiler
Set of boots ready to attach
Bit orange peely
First gloss coats
Room for emprovement
Added the decal belts to foil to add bit it depth
Decal belts badly out of register but should be ok at this scale under glass
Belt tie-down made ready to finish seats off
Tie downs in place and interior done
Forgot the roof vent should be dayglo orange like the underside of rear spoiler, to be fixed
Forgot the coms Roof aerials added. Now done ?

Sy BarAs all rally cars have roll-cages and as this little kit does not have a roll-cage I'll have a go at adding one with plastic rod

Sy BarHome brew metallic blue added via masks made from decals. Hopefully they are in the right location as will be hell to alter 🤪
Next to add some shine to bodywork and finnish the interior

Sy BarOne point about the decals, the registration is poor they are also very thin, which helps them mould to fine detail but means any complex shape is a right royal pain to fix to the body, they fold on them selves and I was lucky to get away with serval of them folding over

Sy BarAll done. Enjoyed doing this kit and adding to the interior despite being hardly seen now it's encased but I do have the photos 😁
Just be aware the decals are very thin and are not easy to apply but it's a great colour scheme.
