AMT were never the best with their instructions/directions? Keep in mind, these were designed for kids? However, you did a superb job on this, and I look forward to seeing more of your builds! Well done mate, that's one for the shelf 100%

Jonathon HerringVery nice. If AMT is designed for kids, MPC is made to keep psychiatrists in the green. I believe Steve is referring to the fifth wheel being backwards.

BozzerLmfao Jonathan! And I believe that you are correct. However, busting my chops on Italeri, for all these years, I'll take your AMT, MPC and even Revell, anyday! I probably laughed far too much at that, but it's Sunday night and my team won. Anything goes 🙂

John BrunThanks for the nice comments. ...and oops! Yeah, the fifth wheel is shown backwards, fortunately it is just sitting on the rails, no glue. Still deciding if I want to add the sleeper section.

BozzerPersonally mate, I wouldn't. It makes a great day cab. The Mercury sleeper has never been a favourite of mine though. You now have to decide what to put behind it? A reefer is the obvious choice, but I don't see no reason why you couldn't use a tanker either? I'd love to see one in the shape of a Coke bottle, but that's taking things to the extreme.

Was not really impressed with the quality of this kit. There were numerous fit issues, and the instructions did not always make it clear how each piece attached. I also spent time determining which piece the instructions were calling for as the number on the instruction did not match the number on the tree.
