This is my first model on which I tried homemade decals. The gold accessories are sprayed according to the template (home made), the black accessories are decals.

Complicated scheme and good work!
I tend to avoid decals and try to mask as much as possible. But not hand cut but prepared by drawing with software and let the masks cut.
But such complicated paint on the tail here will need decals.

I was so intrigued by the colour scheme of this glider and the story of its pilot that I decided to go for it as soon as I discovered it. Moreover, a Slovak pilot flew this glider, so my area of interest was filled - machines of Czechoslovak pilots.
As I mentioned, I built the model a few years ago and it was my first attempt at home-made decals and masks. The model is far from perfect, but it still makes me happy.
