Looks good. Deserves a diorama!

Thank you. Looks not bad, but I must say this one is not my favourite build. First of all my feeling is that Academy's details are sometimes much too thick. Moreover, I incorrectly sprayed Tamiya primer. This gave in some places slight "sand effect" which I tried to fix but with no success. This is visible only in strong light and close distance, but anyway a big flaw. Good thing is that almost half of the real tank is covered with heavy anti slip coating which makes the problem less apparent.

On the other hand - optics. This is what I really like about it. It was the first time I used stickers and for me this is a true "wow factor".

Looks like a real thing! I like it! The Only thing missing is just a little sand and burning T-55..😉

Very nice! The subtle weathering and the "dusty glass" effect give it a very realistic appeal 👍

Very nice and very realistic. The subtle weathering is very realistic to me, having served around these beasts. This is the look I prefer, what my experience says a tank should look like.

Thank you very much, sir. Your comment made me feel like I won the first place in a scale modelling contest!

People seem to over weather tanks, myself included, and I know better. I watched a YouTube video the other day with a Tiger I that was so over weathered, I could not "buy in" to it at all, and it was done by a pro. People need to think about tanks a little, most wartime tanks were brand new or less than 2 years old. I have seen US Army tanks that were well over 15 years old and had NO rust on them at all, because they have been maintained. Only tanks I have seen that are really rusty like I see so many model tanks, are ones on display that have been sitting outside in the weather for 50+ years. You did a great job on your M1, and I hope I can do such a good job someday.

Excellent job on this M1. Weathering is just right in my opinion. Crews tended to keep their equipment as clean as possible. Just depends on what they were doing whether or not it is dirty or not.

Mooi gedaan, Michal. Het is zoals de voorgaande modelvrienden vermelden. Een subtiele verwering is dikwijls al voldoende. Ik heb ook nog zo'n kit in mijn stash en hoop dat het mij ook zo goed gaat lukken.
