Another update: attached the wings. Those were a pleasant surprise - the fit is extremely smooth, just some regular filling&sanding will be required.

Update! Finished the main body construction. Only flaps & some small parts left to attach before the test primer shot.

Update: attached the flaps. Very tedious operation, that requires a lot of patience! Just hope that I won't break them off during the painting sequence)

Update: Decaled, washed, varnished, demasked! Nearly finished. By the way, these flaps are really a pain in the ass - the breaking off nearly on every slight occasion! They look good from the detailing kind of way, but still, their attachment points are very weak and require extreme caution when you handle the model.

Looking great. Any recommendations regarding the flaps? Does not look like they can be made removable.

Thank you, mates! Alec, the only recomendation I can give: before attaching the flaps' hinges (or fixtures, I dunno the right word for their attachment parts), scrape a little line on the attachment points on both the wings and flaps. This is important, because the parts I've mentioned above are PE, therefore they are flat and their attachment points are very, very thin and small, so if you just glue them on the flat surface, this is gonna be a very weak spot. So it's better to prepare some small slots to put this attachment parts in. I hope my advice is understandable, cause my english lacks some specific words) In any case, if you're very cautious and know how to properly work with CA glue, it would be better if you attach the flaps in the very end, because their weak nature gives no opportunity for complex camouflage - their attachment points can't even stand the resistance of the masking tape.

Thaks very much for the recommendation Dmitriy. I know what you are talking about, have seen this on other models.
