Another sugestion.
I've observed that one product can be only in one 'Topic'; so, what when there are different topics in a product?
For example, the Hasegawa's 'MiG-17 & MiG-21 Combo' is under the MiG-17 topic; so if you search for MiG-21 it isn't shown.
To fix this, I've duplicated the entry for High Planes's F4U-5N; one under the F4U topic and other under the 'DH 100' topic.
This may go fine for such products, with only two topics, but... what with those 'tematic' decal sheets? Some Casper or Aviation Workshop Decals have more than TWENTY different 'topics', and there are hundreds of sheets in the same way.
Making so many entries would be too 'heavy' for the database; I think it would be fine if ONE product could be labeled under many 'Topics' if needed.
Am I too fastidious? 🙂

Another fine example is this one from my stash! North American F-86F Sabre & MiG 15 (Airfix A82011, 1:72) It's currently listed under F-86 only.

having multiple topics per product would bring us closer to adding reference literatire <ducking for cover> 😉 :-D

@burkhard: ducking is not enough! 🙂

Ps: making double entries is not good idea! THE chance that They are deleted is very high

I have a similar idea about the timeline feature. For "origin" you can choose only one option, but sometimes more than one are possible. For instance when a kit has new/updated parts AND new decals...

In that case you choose Updated parts
