Very nice cockpit detail... but, the insert isn't quite wide enough and leaves a gap between it and the fuselage sidewalls.
Split the rudder from the fuselage, and royally screwed that up. Using the Razor saw, got out of the panel line and made a cut in the tail. A little Tamiya Putty later, and hopefully no one will notice too much.
Split the elevators from the horizontal stabilizers too. That went much better...
The Fuselage/Wing fit is excellent. Much better than the Academy Spitfire Mk. XIV...

A little putty on the wing/fuselage junction and a bit at the tail. Painted the Anti-Glare panel. Masked the ailerons. Going to do them, the elevators and the rudder in Testors Silver.

Painted the control surfaces. Need to do the wing walkways, mask them and the nose anti-glare and will be ready for more paint.

Thanks, Stefan! Great little kit. Decals went down nicely. Added the two antenna and pitot tube. Painted some of the rear canopy, the last little bit of framing is going to be hard to mask.
I am having a bugger of a time painting the wheels. Can't get a nice paint division between the hub and the wheel. Cleaned the paint off three times now. Fouth times the charm!
