Would you give the Marder a heavy weathering? I like torn and beaten up Marders!

Your result will surely convince! Please tell me, what kind of oils do you prefer? I count on 502 MIG oils. I love them! Their pigments are good, too!

I just buy oils at a local store, without really looking at the brand. Van Gogh oils for example. I have pigments from CMK.

The brand is not important to me, but this MIG-stuff works really good!

yeah, I shook a bottle of the Mig Dark Brown Wash and the cap was loose......it went ALL over my shirt. I immediately soaked the shirt in hot, soapy water but no good.....the stain is there forever........I love all of the Mig Stuff.......those washes are very good!

I found this thread because i was checking out Aghis' Marder project and was admiring that barrel........I found one for $25.........but man, that's my gripe about this after market stuff.......just too expensive.......I paid $40 for the TriStar Marder and $25 for the barrel is just too rich for my blood............

The Tristar kit is beautiful, but the barrel is a worthy addition. Especially the one piece brass muzzle is incredible.

Using enamels, acrylics, washes, pigments and oils I got the interior of the Marder done - now hopefully I can speed up the rest. It is my first AFV, so say whatever comments you like - all are welcome.
