You also have the possibility to make a captured P-51, but that was the B subtype, T9+CK ''Zirkus Rosarius''.

Too many mustangs out there...
Quiz: How many mustangs did Kurt Tank evade from, while flying an unarmed Ta 152 ? 🙂 🙂 🙂

Correction: A fully armed but...without ammo Ta 152 ? 🙂

Actually 4! Autumn 1944: Kurt took off from Langenhagen field Hanover for a flight to Kottbus to attend a conference. Right after take off, 4 P-51's were on his tail. All he needed to do was to hit methanol-water injection button, and...the mustang pilots were rubbing their eyes...😉

And this was nothing compared to the time he escaped from two spitfires on his favourite Fw 58 !!! But that is another story...😉

Ha! Kurt Tank's life is full of impossible feats! Ever read how he managed to get away from the americans and get to Argentina ? Unbelievable story! Need a couple of cases of Jever for that one 🙂
