I agree. Realy good built hangar. The Henschel is also on my agenda. My grandpa flew with it during the war as observer

@ Aghis: he served several units. before the war: 1937: 3. Aufklärungsgruppe 212 in Cottbus, 1938: Aufklärungsgrupp18 in Kottigbrunn (Austria), 1939: 3.(H)14 in Bad Vöslau (Austria), before and at the begin of the War he flew He46; He was wounded in Poland and was in hospital during the french campaign; During the war in russia he flew HS126 and later Fw 189. The units were: 1941: 6.(H)/41, 1942:Kurierstaffel 11 at AOK4( Headquarter of the 4th army); 1943: 7.(H)/13; 1944: 3.(H)/21; at the end he served at the Luftwaffenpolizei ( Military police of the airforce)

@ Philip: Unfortunately he had no photos because they get lost at the end of the war and he did not talk much about that time. I have to ask at te german archive for info.
@ Wilfried: He was awarded with the golden flying clasp for reconaisance crews which was given after 250 flights
PS he started his career in 1929 when he joined the cavalry

That is very interesting Christian, and quite a history you have there! Your grandpa was flying my favourite aircraft Fw189! I wish I could have met him! It is definitely a source of inspiration having someone in your family with such a background. I have as future projects both the Hs126 and the Fw189, needless to say...😉
