My dislike for the SIO parts in the MiG 31's otherwise brilliant AMK kit grows and grows
The lines on the chassis break with minimal pressure with the brush, the cover of the cannon, actually a very stable part, crumbles like biscuits when sawing with the finest precision saw I could find, so for the future it will only be the AMK basis for me and can then give the accessories from CZ or Vietnam

One thing is for sure, I will not invest any more money for SIO / AMK, even if the AMK F 14 is very tempting, but then the basis and accessories from other manufacturers will certainly no longer be SIO ....

Despite the real problems with the SIO 3D parts, there is light at the end of the tunnel, you don't have to say a word about the basic quality of the AMK parts, absolute top league in terms of plastic model making 1:48

15 days of construction and a lot of disappointment about the 3D parts, but in the end the pictures make you forget the biggest annoyance 🙂
