A friend bought me the Eduard Bicentennial F-4J. Out of the blue! I was floored, so I know what you mean. So no worries there.
And the Junkers, what I meant to say is I will sent it to you regardless of the gift cert. I know you get me one when you can - but the kit's coming your way anyway, OK?

I have it. Now I need money to buy tons of Eduard PE sets for it. 🙂

I will probably skip interior, but I will look for exterior and undercarriage. And maybe wheels.

I buy a ZOOM set for every kit I buy. ZOOM, Bang seat and paint masks. The ZOOM kit and a seat with molded-in or PE harnesses are all I need. And the fact is: that's all you can see! Doubling the cost of the aircraft kit with the purchase of a full-resin 'pit kit seems a bit daft. You do all the intricate and beautiful work --then bury 60% of it in the the fuselage!

Bang seat 😄 😄 never heard that before lol 😄

It's our slang for ejection seats. Kevin got me started on that also Zoom set and seat for every kit,if I can get it. I use the Hasegawa zoom sets on my Revell F-4s, but have to use the kit seats as the bottom of the seat is part of the cockpit tub.

Edgars, don't believe everything (or anything??) that Skip tells you. Neither one of us have any money so we have to find economical ways to enhance the realism. I enjoy putting the painted PE under a strong magnifier and they are almost like looking at a photo of an actual instrument panel! Since they are using lasers - they can go as small as they want - ALMOST!! And the BANG seats are called that because of all the explosions that take place simultaneously during an eject. Blown canopies, rockets igniting . . .BANG!!

Kevin, thanks for explanation 🙂 But I will keep up on my methods - do myself or don't do😉

And Skip is a wise man and an excellent builder. You CAN believe in what he has to say. Just don't listen to ME, I should have said!
