This was my first tank build and first Tamiya kit. This made me a rapid fan of Tamiya! Booklet has some good/basic historic information on the M47. The instructions are multilingual and are pretty easy to follow, especially for a beginner! Overall, I was pleased with the experience both of the build and of Tamiya.

This is a rebox of an italeri kit from latest 70s with updated tamiya parts and decals. I just picked it up today, but italeri has got to fix those track pin marks and stop saying they're "New Gluable" tracks. Can anyone confirm if flexifile plasti weld will work to glue the tracks, I'm thinking these tracks are abs plastic, that's why cement won't work. Going to try the plastic weld and see if it works. It's not a bad kit, thinking either aftermarket tracks for sure, and some etch to bring it up to 2022 standards.
