Dave Flitton What a throwback!!! built this soon after it came out, and witnessed the first F-16 unit set up at Hill AFB

Ben M I brush painted mine, it wasn't a beauty as a result, but I did all the masking and decals and was proud of the job I did, it was likely the most complicated painting I had done at that point.

d hadley Dave, I am truly jealous! i was too young to see the first F-16s at hill but i fell in love with that plane the first time i saw it at an air show up there.
ben, we have all been there!you should still be proud of the job you did back then as it was the best you could do. i have several of my early kits that are not pretty but i have found lately that i can respect what i was able to accomplish in my youth and know that i have come a long way. i kind of like being able to see my own growth through this hobby. sorry for the little bit of a soap box moment!

Ben M I still don't get the result I see in my mind but after I finish a build I find I'm generally happy with it. I love the red/white/blue on this one.
