An English, German, French or Spanish version would help a lot of people.
I know, but there ale a lot of websites in english language. Poland is a big market for scale model and my website is currently the largest modelling review website here, providing information that is easily accessible especially to many Polish modellers for whom the language barrier is still a problem. It's easier for me to describe all this stuff in my own language as well. On the other hand - pics are worth more than bulk of words, so my reviews could be helpful regardles of language barrier
I did not mean it should not be in Polish. I would love to benefit from your expertise. But learning Polish could prove too much for me.
I have to go with Kamil on this. I mainly look at reviews for sprue pictures or even detailed pictures of some parts. Unless it's a build review I'm good enough with the pictures to make a descission to want/buy a kit or not. If Polish is the way to get the Polish community on board, let's please do so. If the language barrier diminishes over time, we can switch to English.
Then, Patrick, you consider that his writing have no interest for you, just the photographs ?
Well, I like to know what people have to say, not just look at photographs of plastic parts.
Well Olly, not that I'm not interested in what a reviewer has to say but more that when a review is in a foreign language but the pictures are detailed, I can live with the review not being in an understandable language. It depends from review to review. For now, KFS reviews are manageable for me and if a large part of the community can read them and get the information needed, I'm good with it. But as stated in my last line, it would be nice to have an English version over time.
I hope this clarifies my point of view.
chrome will translate any website, not perfect but good enough to see if you will be buying a piece of **** or a gem......
Gentlemen, first of all thank you for your comments. I'm glad, that even if you are not able understand description for pictures, you are finding them a bit useful to judge quality of described items. And I know that even with help of translator you will be not able understand my reviews at all, since I'm write quite far from 'simple polish'. Anyway, I decided to make my website especially for polish audience because of a few reasons. As I've said - even if english is a new lingua latina nowadays, it is still a problem to understand articles and reviews in english language for many modellers here, in Poland (and in many non-english countries as well, to be honest). So even if there are a bulk of international review vortals, there were still a gap to fill. That was my policy, since Poland is one of the biggest market for scale models in europe. Another very important factor is that I'm not enough familiar with english (which is visible at this message). It is a bit difficult to write what I want to say in English. And I don't want to write my rewiews with some ridiculous quasi-english (which also quite popular). Shortly - it will be to much time consuming and too laborious to write english descriptions. And what should be noticed - this is not my main work - I'm not retired plastic-enthusiast. Even if I'm a full time modeller, all these reviews and other articles are just a way for some procrastination :> Same for me, and my team as well.
Thank you for explaining Kamil.
Świetna recenzja. Cheers!
