Looking for a budget airbrush that has a decent specification in terms of build specification and translates this into performance.
The GHAD-39 seems to fit the bill, and a big selling point for me was to have access to spare parts at a decent quality & price point
The performance is what I hoped for, in terms of cover, consistency and the ability to do some finer work
It is also a straightforward tool to clean (acrylic) paint consistently - in a few minutes it is ready to work perfectly again

The concern I have is with the availability of spares from the promised online website; there are a some needle / nozzle / nozzle tips singly or as kits buried on Amazon but no structured maps of parts to buy - some individual parts are about a decent price, but the higher end brushes needle/nozzle/nozzle caps as kits are expensive
The needles on the GHAD (& what else) are at a lower spec than the GHAC and GHPM

So not got a fuzzy feeling my working airbrush is going to get decent spares support
I have two old HF95810 - one bought for spares for the other;
A NeoEco which I got and worked perfectly for about 5 months and now doesn't spray consistently - bought a new set of needles etc - specification just isn't in it
Also use Paasche VLS and VL - these have all the spares I need, but is cheaper to buy a new VL set up as a #1 for $43 delivered than to rebuild it...and I have gone thro a lot of needles/caps- it is 0.55mm so covers well, but fine work not so much!

I bought the GHAD-39 in March very happy with it; sprays well, consistently easy to control fine work, and easy to get a great cleaning job with only a few minutes every color change - most impressive...and with a discount $34 delivered - Which is much cheaper than it should be; however the delivered price today is is up to $56, which is $16 above the introductory price

The promise of spare parts availability in June was a big factor in this purchase for me; only a few some are now available since July - there is still no comprehensive spare parts list with prices - especially for the needle/nozzle nozzle cap for each size

What I wanted are smaller needles than the 3.5mm, maybe 3.0mm or slightly less; none so far available
Also of Interest are the reported different specifications of the needles of the GHAC-98; where the price differential for 1 needle set to two is $100 - $120 i.e. $20 for the needle, nozzle. nozzle cap? But the cost of a replacement 0.5mm set is $33; that said a 0.35mm needle and nozzle costs about$12;
The whole lifetime cost of ownership needs to be taken into account

It all seems a bit disorganized at present
