Pero Susinger Hello out there.
I'm building this kit and right now I'm about to plan the camouflage. It has to be the black glossy one. I like it, it looks pretty good.
Does anybody have me some advice how to weather a black glossy camouflage?
Thanks a lot.

Roland Revolvermann Hi Pero,
IMHO this scheme is a showbird and isn't much weathered. But if you want to weather it i suggest to make the Panel Lines with a light-darker grey. According to the weathering age i would do some matt clear coat over some parts of the surface. Gloss finish is lost by dust and dirt hitting the surface on ground and in flight. You also can use a sandpaper.
Oil Streakings from the flaps/slats and on the underside. And a wash with some dusty colors are also possible.
Though it breaks my heart looking at this beautiful showbird weathered, im looking forward to see your result 👍 🙂
Pero Susinger Hello Roland, thank you for your thoughts. You may be right. This camo is meant to look good, not to look weathered. I have to think about it.
