John Van Kooten Sounds just about right for a Dragon kit then sorry to hear that...
I have 4 Jagdtigers in my stash, three of which have an incorrect lower hull, plus one with the entire cardboard card missing (the one with the clear parts, metal barrel, PE, small extra sprues, decals, etc.).
I have numerous Dragon kits that have something missing / incorrect parts / damaged.
Seems to be typical for Dragon.......
You can open a ticket on the Dragon Care website if you want. I did for my Jagdtigers at 01-01-2014 but I have yet to receive any kind of response. Maybe you will have more luck (I hope!). Some people get their missing parts sent to them within days (for free). So it's not that they are inherently bad

I had it one time that the cardboard was twice in a kit!

Fabian D. Well, I hope the best aswell... I´ve got the confiramtion mail that they recived my "issue" (21.05.2014, 11.11) Let´s see how long it´s gonna take. To be on the safe side I´ve given them the adress of my parents (as it´s seems less likely that they move in the next 30 years)
John, Murphy is everywere, but at least an appropriate customer support should be in (esp. if you consider the suggested retail prices the want....) I´ve read a bit, and it seemed to me that Dragon USA is quite quick with those, maybe we in Europe have to deal with other departments?
Quote: "Your satisfaction is important to us." - time to proof that...
Yeah, I think Europe mostly has dealings with Dragon in Asia or (if one is lucky) with a local importer.
But the biggest problem with response times is the availability of the kit. The Jagdtiger (Porsche, without the zimmerit) for instance, hasn't had a production run for years. So it's probably simply not available anywhere, meaning they can't send me the missing parts. But if that's the case a simple email or status update of my ticket with "we're on it but -this- is the problem at the moment" would have been appreciated after almost 5 months of me waiting for... anything...
But fellow modelers are telling me that if the kit is readily available, Dragon usually responds in record time. So it's really not a matter of them being unwilling to cooperate
Anyway, yeah, I hope they can indeed prove to you that customer satisfaction is important to them
