wilky So four Spits, only twenty to go. Now if you start going into sub categories with the A B and C armament and then the clipped wing and extended wing. Then tropical and trainer versions you might have to live to two hundred to build them all. Oh, nearly forgot the prototype

wilky What happened to getting a Boomerang
25. February 2017, 17:10
Robert W Martel Yikes! No, I think 4 will be sufficient! I don't have room for so many. And I may want to off one of those.
I only bought those 2 because I thought they were a good deal. The MkIIa I got a couple weeks ago for $24 shipped from GB,,, supposed to arrive today. The reviews say it's nice but has the metal ailerons and shouldn't, but all engraved etc. etc. The MkI (0021) I thought I read was a mongrel of Hasegawa & Revell ??? I'm sure you know more about them all! Maybe I didn't get a GREAT deal on that one,,,, but anyway,,,,
Supposedly Revell is coming out w/MK.IX C this year, Hobby Lobby should have it eventually, so the price will be good. And,,, I'd sure like if Zoukei Mura came out with one, I really want one of their P-51s!
And the Boomerang is still near the top of my list, I'll get one here pretty soon!
Sometimes I just get sidetracked!

Robert W Martel I only find 1 review for the Mk1 (0021) kit @ Modellversium
modellversium.de/kit/artikel.php?id=8195
It looks decent from what I can tell, but what do I know ??? lol

wilky It's very easy to get sidetracked. I'm meant to be re-acquiring the kits I sold in 1993 but keep buying others. I have to strengthen my resolve and make sure I get the last couple of kits, especially as one isn't on Scalemates and should be as it is a new tool and the second release of the kit is currently on Scalemates as the new tool

Robert W Martel Yes It's TOO easy to get sidetracked !! I just got the Mk.I in today. I'll take some pics and post an album, it looks pretty nice actually.

wilky I just discovered that the Zoukei Mura Mustang Mk IV kit has R.A.A.F decals. Well 3 Squadron markings for an R.A.F. aircraft in Italy. I really prefer to get R.A.A.F. aircraft with A number serials but it's in the wishlist now
