Colin Burgess Hi Tim, I picked up the Tevell 72nd kit in the UK a couple of years back. That was after I had seen the 48th kit what a beauty but not so with the 72nd kit. Thankfully Tamiya putty came to the rescue, it's still a WIP projecy at present! Maybe I should take a couple of pics before I get paint on it?

Burkhard D Be careful - catalog # 04621 is from Italeri molds, and I guess this is the one that you got, while # 04317 and # 04338 (twin-seater) are beautiful new molds.

Colin Burgess Hi Burkhard, Thanks for the pointer towards the two seat Typhoon, however I think one Typhoon in my collection will be sufficient. Maybe I should have looked at the 2 seat kit first, pity!

Burkhard D Hi Colin, just for clarity #04317 is a new-mold single seater. I have all 1:72 Typhoon kits except Airfix A04036. With my skills not yet back to where they were (too few kits built and too far in between during the past 10 years) I will probably tackle the 'dog' kits first. The old Airfix EF2000 should make for a really good representation of the EF2000 mockup that is still around at all the major airshows

Colin Burgess Hi Burkhard, Thanks for the input on the various kits. I like the Typhoon even from it's early days as the Eurofighter. The current grey overall schemes don't show the shape off to the best advantage, so I'm stuck with an RAF aircraft. My kit too is an on and off project, it's sits in a box which is not in my peripheral vision so tends to get overlooked. I had a lot of filling to do and a lot of cleaning up. Thankfully Mr Tamiya makes a good putty to help Mr Italeri get a good looking model!!!!
Maybe one day when I get the kit finished I'll be able to post a pic of two. Next job will be some paint application.
