Gareth Burrow Very disappointed with this kit, opened the box to have a look at the quality of the molding and to say it is awful is a massive understatement. This Kit is full of flash, the detail on the panels fades to nothing, far to many release pin marks (even on the outside faces of parts). I think the clean up for this kit is going to take far longer than it would to build the thing if all was well, I think this one will stay in the stash for some time before I decide to build the thing!

Dan M Well, it's a reboxed 1973 kit, so the "quality" level is not surprising. I think only the decals are changed from the original version

Cuajete Do not trust the new red Airfix boxes. Before buying one, if you're not sure that it's a new tool, check the Scalemates timeline

Augie A lesson I fell for long ago. Always worth asking before hand or looking up on ScM

Gareth Burrow Thanks guys!, I did question myself when I put it in my basket but as usual I didn't listen, should have gone for the B25 Mitchell that I wanted instead!

Martin Oostrom Have the same experience with some Tamiya 1/72 planes. Are actually some Italeri reboxings.

Derek Huggett ScM is normally my first port of call - always worth watching 'the big names', as they all have a habit of re-releasing old toolings (or even other manufacturers toolings - mentioning no names [Revell] oops!) in nice new boxes! Important that we keep the database accurate and up-to-date.

John Bollig The B 26 is not a bad kit. Yes, it is old and not up to date. I have built this kit back in the 1970's. My notes as followed " not a bad kit, needs some cleanup and some flash on the wings and tail. "
