Don "The Don" Hi Andrew. How are you getting along with the Paladin and the Merkava Mark 2b ???
28. July at 22:43:34
Don "The Don" Andrew. I found a company in Poland called Quick Wheels. It greatly helps painting tyres for tanks. I have used it on a Merkava 3. The company make this product for many types of AFV's. Postage to Ireland was very low.

Don "The Don" Hello Andrew. I was looking at a review of the Takom Merkava 2b and then pricing it on an Irish online model site. It was E 65. I went to Scalemates to enter it on my wishlist and I saw a company in Poland selling one. The Company was Super-Hobby at E 39. I bought it there and paints. Post to Ireland was only E 2.50 I also saw the paint James wrote about. Interactive AK122. It is for airbrush only though. Did not buy that one as I don't own airbrush. Do you use Super-Hobby. They have a good web site.

Andrew K. Don. Thx for QuickWheels information. Yes "Super-Hobby" ( in Poland :) have name Moje Hooby :) ) Yes I buy in this shop and they have nice price. The secend grate shop were I buy, it's Agtom but I don't now how may cost post to Ireland. You need check this if you wont. In Super-Hobby a large model have review, this is grate in this shop. I bulding Merkava and have problem in glue side flaps, they are not evenly placed in line :) I leave this. If I cut him in 100% I will regret it :D maye be I'm not prepared for this :) I do not hurry too much with the construction. I thinks AK paint i try in next project.

Don "The Don" Hi Andrew. Glad you found Quick Wheels good. I did. I have just completed a Tamiya Marder 111 and a Dragon SD.KFZ 251 ausf c. The Marder is a tank destroyer and yet it is so small like the 251. The Marder came out good but the single links on the Dragon kit just were not right and broke apart often. The kit has fit problems also. I am going to use both for practising weathering items when it arrives from Super-Hobby. I might try and burn the Dragon for war damage also. Sorry to hear you have trouble with the Merkava. I hope you can solve the problem and let me know before I start my kit.

Don "The Don" Hi Andrew. I ordered my Takom Merkava 2b from Super-Hobby last weekend. Posted on Monday 6 August and I got it perfectly today Friday --- Nothing damaged and all items correct. Great service from the shop. You said you liked looking at Andy's Hobby Headquarters on you tube. Have a look at John Moore's Scale Models on You Tube. John is an Irishman but speaks in English slowly. Does lovely Tanks / AFV's.

Don "The Don" Hello Andrew. Hope you are well. I recently finished my Academy Magach 6b. I was pleased with the result as built from the box with no weathering. How are you getting along with your Paladin ?? After about a month off modelling I made a start with Takom Merkava 2b, lower hull. This is the one I got in Super-Hobby Poland. Getting used to the instructions as they are different to either Tamiya or Academy. Annual holidays shortly but I will continue with the Merkava.

Don "The Don" I am making this Tamiya/Italeri kit at present. However it's mainly Italeri and some of their very old sprues. Only 2 Tamiya sprues in the box. Anybody else found this as an issue as I thought I was getting a Tamiya kit!!!!
