S M, yes, I was actually a bit surprised how poorly designed the kit is in this area. The breakdown of the parts is just not very well thought out. Having built the ART Models kit before (almost the same as the KP kit), I thought that maybe I was being a bit sloppy there, but here I really took great care with the assembly and still ended up with fit issues.

The tamiya 1:100 is also pretty bad. I finished mine but I think redoing the nose 6 times killed my mojo for several months.
