Tim Builder 作者In 1/35 scale, a jeep is quite small. I thought by adding in the trailer it would give the build a bit more volume, and I think that worked out.

David HI know it's not a perfect answer but I paint my canopy's interior colour on the outside using the regular masks then paint the exterior colour over the top. Some manufacturers thoughtfully make the frame part of the canopy as an etched Matt area 👍🏻

Rando 作者From what I read, the light grey paint on these VMFA-531 F-4s was very durable the planes did not appear heavily weathered. I do still want to add some subtle variation to the paint job, so I experimented with some brown and white preshading.

Alec KExcellent indeed and congrats on the win. The winners lineup looks a lot younger than similar in US where median age is 65+. Good luck with getting your son into it (I tried and failed 😭).

Sits 作者Spent this afternoon persuading the canopy and nose section to fit, as well as I could. Hopefully not too much filler will be needed but I will have to use it anyway after making a hole on top of the fuselage (see photo). Unfortunately I had to remove a couple of my weights (screws!) as the nose wouldn't go on with them there. If it ends up looking like a tail sitter I might make a late switch to wheels up.

Mason Reid 作者I can finally declare this one finished. Not my best work but not my worst, honestly the kit was pretty good except for the decals and the panel lines. It is exactly what you think of when you think of scale model, it does not baby you like tamyia but it is not unbearable like some revell kits. Just a fun kit perfect for beginners

Steven Van Dyck 作者AK's dark brown wash for green vehicles was applied and some pins were inserted in the four corner wheels. Next, some pigments will be used.

Steven Van Dyck 作者The pigments and a matt coat are applied, so the vehicle was mounted on the base with the pins. I made them so the wheels could be tensioned to the grass, to avoid floating elements. For the same purpose I removed the grass under the MLRS magazine. Other details added are the beautiful SKP lighting set and the Tetra rearview mirrors, which are self-adhesive metallic plates and result in real mirror quality. I found the teeth had darkened too much from the wash and removed this by abrasion with a knife. This caused an extra realistic effect. Antennas were added (and readded) a few times.

Gordon SørensenGreat looking interior, Kenneth. I made K-687 a couple years ago in the Green with Day-Glo panels using the Revell kit and decals from the ESCI kit. I would like to do another, but in the two-tone camouflage.

Kenneth 作者Thanks, Gordon 👍 Yours look great, K-687 is what I'm aiming at too (got the numbers mixed up earlier…). As you can see, the Lima November decal set also comprises decals for the two-tone version.
