It's the only Car that " I " know of...
That as you accelerated the front end of the Car Rose, and the faster you went, not only did it rise higher, but you felt yourself being G-forced into the seat and the G-force got greater the faster you went. I've driven some cars in my time, but the GT-40 was a special experience. I can fully appreciate why it beat the Ferrari at Le Mans and why Enzo had a love/hate relationship with it.
For me it was an memorial experience. The Car was owned by the Son of the architect who designed Centre Point in London, who was himself also an architect. I was a part time LP & 7" record dealer at the time and he was a record collector, I ran an Off Licence in Clapham he was a customer, we became great friends...
