Bill Davis Gordon Sorensen, I believe the PM kit is based on the Dutch built version. When the Finns started license manufacturing the D XXI they changed some things.

Bill Davis Ville Siltanen, I got the special hobby and the MPM, kits after I got the PM model. I have been able to use parts of those models as a pattern to modify the PM kit. I got the PM model as a practice kit. If I wanted to practice filling, sanding, filing, modifying, and scratch building, this was the kit to get!

Ville Siltanen Ah.The famous one which he scored six kills in four minutes.I believe it´s a still some sort of world record.Good luck with build, can´t wait to see it finished.
Bill Davis No I haven't. I have since purchased kits of the same aircraft from MPM and Special Hobby. I have found out that generally, the better kit you start with the better finished model you end up with. Turning this very basic kit into a nice model would be a challenge that I would like to finish one day but I don't know when that will be.

Heikki Lankinen I've got this same kit in stash, perhaps I'll also just let it be.
