Harry Eder When will this GB end?
12. August at 11:01:19 Share
Daniel 31 Dec is up for discussion - so far no disagrees, or are there?

Eelco Gregoire Let's make it 6 months, ideal for slow builders to make 1 kit and enough time for the 3 kit builders.

Daniel I dont know if I would stay really interested in the topic for half a year...but just my 2c. we need a democratic vote! we could use a voting tool on scalemates, would also be great for contests or sth like that

Harry Eder Thx! I´m a slow builder.... :D
13. August at 08:53:02
Roland Revolvermann I'm a slow builder, too. But IMHO three months should be enough for one build: Pressure isn't just bad ;) I agree with Daniel.
13. August at 09:03:48
Wim van der Luijt I intend to join because of the "pressure" involved....I don't like being a slow builder :D Three months sounds good to me!
13. August at 09:13:48
Sergej I 3M is OK, x-mass holiday out-of-office gifted for final weathering and gluing them details on :D
13. August at 21:15:28
Calvin Gifford Yes, three months gives even a glacier-paced builder like me a chance to actually finish a kit! ;)
18. August at 23:21:36
Calvin Gifford BTW, does anyone now make the 'Duckbill' nose for the Swiss & US Navy Tigers? I know there was someone years ago but wondering if there is a modern source.
18. August at 23:24:12
Michael Hickey I' have to say till the 31st Dec sounds like a good idea to me.
18. August at 23:40:57
Wim van der Luijt @Calvin Gifford: the shark nose is included in these sets (in 1:48 ) :

F-5E Tiger II Update Set (Wolfpack WP48012, 1:48)

F-5N Tiger II Aggressor Update Set (Wolfpack WP48047, 1:48)

F-5E Tiger II Duckbill & LEX (AMS Resin 48035, 1:48)

The wolfpack versions are rather hard to come by, but I managed to find one in after a week of searching the net.

Don't know about other scales

Harry Eder In 1:48 some of the AFV-Club kits have the shark nose too....

B R Im good with 3 months is good i mean any one can take as long as they like with kits they build in there own time longer than 3 months will drag on in my opinion besides its all about fun any way..right!
19. August at 12:00:48
Jos Jansen I agree B is not a competition who has built his aggressor the fastest, that we have a target date of 31 December is good, but those who are not ready still have the time to have their aggressor ready later. It would be nice if we could have a joint album at SCM in which we can place all our aggressors...?!
19. August at 19:22:34
B R I agree im sure scalemates will keep evolving over time it already has changed so much since i was last on here 3 years ago its better than ever
19. August at 20:44:39
B R I suppose a 182 Cessna is out of the question for this GB
19. August at 20:47:47
Harry Eder That sounds great! So I have to find a nice aggressor to build. ;)
19. August at 20:58:45
Jos Jansen B R...The intention is to build an aircraft that has or has had an adversary role. I don't think this Cessna has or has had that, but I don't know because it's a civilian plane...
19. August at 21:00:50
B R I understand Jos :(
20. August at 05:49:51
B R Actually while we are on the what to build subject what are the Aggressor aircraft or list I understand they are a training Squadron so to speak but is there a list i was thinking of the F-32 or the SU-57 any help??
20. August at 05:53:02
Hans Robben Aggressor a/c are those who are used by an airforce to provide training for their pilots in flying against simulated enemy a/c and their tactics.
20. August at 07:02:58
Harry Eder "Viper" in the Top Gun movie if you know that.
20. August at 07:05:52
