I yesterday Monday October 13 received my 1:24 FPP Modelos Ferrari 375 F1, Ferrari's first win at Silverstone in 1951... Fernando Pinto in Gaia Portugal makes these kits himself, although not 1:20 I have wanted an example of this particular car a very long time. I've only ever seen it in 1:43, so in this case I'll except a 1:24!!!
It's a wonderful kit, hats off to Fernando, I'm looking forward to getting stuck into it, loads of flash and cleaning up to do, which I love doing. The instructions are not the best in the World, but I can cope.

It is tempting, i admit, but a 1/24 between my 1/20 Ferraris? I think it would not look good on my shelf. I will follow your build with great interest. I googled on FPP models and saw the casting was a bit rough on all it's models. But you like to clean. 🙂

I'm a bit of an old fashioned modeller. If I want a jigsaw puzzle I'll go for a Tamiya they make a change anyway. But I like to work at making a model looking good. I revell in the problems created by building a raw back to roots model kits. It's why I always stick up for Protar kit, to make one of those look good you work for it... Fernando's kits are a bit more back to Earth than Protar, so well done Fernando🙂
I know what you mean about the scale, I'm the same. But in this case, I'm 64 next week, I might never get the chance to own a 1:20. I want to have this CAR, not so much the scale, in my collection, it's an important element to any Ferrari collection. It's Ferraris first win in F1, that overides my bias for waiting for a 1:20 kit of this iconic car... I descend from my pulpit, having stated my case!!!
