Yes, thats right. I am doing a spinny thingy from WWII. One of the FB pages I belong to i a live auction page. The owner had an idea for a group build. Throw your name in the hat, he will pick a partner for you. You each send the other a kit not over about 30.00. And no matter what it is, you HAVE to build THAT kit. So now I am building a Corsair. I sent him the Revell F-101.

So, I just started with painting the cockpit parts interior green and wheel wells with green zinc chromate. Nothing picture worthy yet. I dont know exactly which scheme I am doing yet, nor if it will be new or like the second pic. We shall see.

OK, so got the pit, engine and wheel wells done. And on hold now. Waiting for seatbelts now. Not gonna try to do that once its together. So it sits for the next couple days.

I accidentally wrote the intro in the comments for the project rather than the album. Here it is:

I've finally decided to tackle Tamiya's 1/32 F4U-1A Corsair kit and of course I have to do one of Pappy Boyington's birds. It's a wonderful kit. I'm using Mr. Color paints and added the Baracuda cockpit decals and resin wheels along with Eduard's cockpit masks. I tried the HGW micro textile seatbelts for the first time and I really like them. Fundekals has a nice reference guide and I plan on using their decals.

The office is complete.
