Already got one picked out.
His is by far the biggest kit I've ever tackled. Had trouble with cement running a bit wild... mainly because I tried to make sure the fuselage halves were even. Still had some uneven edges along the seam, and now I've got a few fingerprint spots to sand down. February 25, 2021

oh, my my... I have the box open on one of these babies too... very inspirational!
Thank you Greg! It is a challenging kit due to its age and poor detail, but boy it's a beautiful plane when finished!
I was staring at it for a bit trying to decide if I wanted to attempt to describe the panel lines... I left the debate undecided, but leaning towards leaving it be. That was the first thing I checked on yours... seems like a good choice.
If I were to build an other one, I would also leave the panel lines as is. Especially with the foiling. It is nice to have some handrails for applying the foil, but the rescrebing was a bit of a waste of time I think as it's not that visible anyway. If I had just used pieces of foil the size of the different panels I would have achieved more or less the same result. October 7, 2020
