Alec K Hi Christian. A bit of an unrelated comment, but I really like the idea of using Scamelates for managing and organizing project ideas. Seems like you are doing this already. Can you expound on your approach: is an "idea" any different than a "project", and how do "collections" fit in? Sorry for the pesky questions, I am starting to use Scalemates more and more and am learning, albeit slowly. Btw, I really like your project "banners", very cool. Thanks much.

Christian Bruer Hi Pardubak, welcome here on Scalemates and don't worry about your questions.

You can start a project using a kit in your stash. You can choos a different status for your project. You can start just as an idea or you can set it to work in progress when you have start it. Completed and cancelled are more levels to chose.
You can add projects you still have in progress or set a new one you already plan to do one day. Next to the kit you can add accessorie sets and aftermarket produts from your stash or wishlist to manage your modeling projects.

Collections will help you to manage the projects and relate them to a special topic. In my case ship models and planes in different scales, but you can choose whatever you want. When you add a new project you can relate the project to one of your collections.

Dutch, no luck on the galaxy site. I have saved the forum from swanny's and have downloaded everything else I found w builds/pics for reference.
Eugen, Tom Cleaver's is a good review. I read a lot of his reviews. I've saved it and another by Brian Cauchi on largescaleplanes.
I had thought about sending Tom an email, I'll have to do that as well as see if I can get in touch w/Brian.
I had found the plans on the largescaleplanes site, they're half decent for the most part but hard to read and some parts I just cant make out. Maybe when I get my other eye fixed !! LOL
I also sent a message to all the members here on Scalemates that show they have it in their stash. Although only 7 of the 16 show on the page. Maybe I'll get lucky there.
Just have to keep at it!

Robert W Martel I've been wanting a 32nd scale typhoon for some time. I have the Revell 1/48. It's the newer bubbletop w/rockets version, but its just puny. Anyway $33 shipped, open box but sealed inside and the decals look ok. And, the Maxi Masks are still available for it. The only other one I've seen in 32nd is the PCM and it's pretty $$$ and nothing available at this time, so this will do just fine.
