Nicely done. Excellent subtle weathering. The kit is great except for the ridges down the center of tires. I don't know what IBG was thinking.

Thanks Rick! IBG made a good basic kit, but there are a lot of mistakes in this modification. I used the Technical manual TM-9-305 "75mm Gun Material M1897 and Modifications" to make a number of items myself.

Hmmm, I am a little bit confused with german pak 97. Does it have some relations with Schneider 1897 family? Looking forward to your build.

Качающаяся часть (люлька и ствол) 75 mm Field gun Schneider 1897 поставлена на лафет противотанковой PAK-38 и ствол оборудован дульным тормозом. Полученному таким образом орудию присвоен индекс PAK 97/38.

This is one artillery system!))) The swinging part (cradle and barrel) of the 75 mm Schneider 1897 field gun is mounted on the carriage of the PAK-38 anti-tank gun, and the barrel is equipped with a muzzle brake. The resulting gun received the index PAK 97/38

Будет интересно посмотреть) Через запил тягача ГАЗ 61-416 на базе "Эмки" я тоже стал плавно подсаживаться на артиллерийскую тему)

The family will consist of:
#1 75mm French field gun mle 1897 (early production before 1910);
#2 75mm French field gun mle 1897 (modified 1938);
#3 75mm gun M1897, carriage M1897A4 (US modified 1932);
#4 75mm PaK 97/38 (production 1942)
The Assembly of all the guns is almost finished!

This project is finished, but perhaps I will make 2-3 more versions of the gun. For example, I am interested in the installation of guns in the forts "la Ligne Maginot". Hope to be continued!

Another valuable contribution to your artillery collection.
17. August 2020, 08:51

Indeed. For such an important artillery piece, I am surprised that it took this long to get a high quality styrene kit. I had two rather unsatisfying resin kits and the old, crude TOM/RPM kit but just couldn't bring myself to build them. This kit was a welcome relief.
