Mike Grant Thank you Scot and Tim. I've always liked this scheme, I built a Hasegawa 1/72 Mu-2 many years ago in similar colours.

Gustavo Antonelli Thanks! This is my first Mach 2 kit. I find that the plastic is very similar to High Planes kits.

Ekki Excellent job.

Thomas Bischoff Well done Gustavo - I heard the Mach 2 kits are horrible?

ForestFan Well done, anyone that completes a Mach 2 kit deserves a medal!
6. June 2016 at 20:45:36
Gustavo Antonelli Lol :-D Thank you guys! Yep, the kit is certainly horrible, even the card box is miserable... but not as bad a as a " Del Sur Models" resin kit, believe me. On the other hand, the Southern Eagles decals are excellent!
8. June 2016 at 03:30:42
Da In I looked another one from RVHP: Gates Learjet 35A (RVHP 72002, 1:72) It looks like nice!....Anyway, this scheme is really nice, and the decals!!....good job!!! :)

Gustavo Antonelli Thank you Da In ! AFAIK Southern Eagles also has produced a decal sheet for th T-26, https://es-la.facebook.com/S..s-Kits-Decals-277840546373/. BTW, T-26 is in service as a radio helper verifier. Here is a video in YouTube (Youtube Video ).

Ray Seppala Always wanted to do one of these in 1/72 but kits are hard to find. You have done a great job Augie Who's decals did you use?
1. January 2015 at 06:59:40
Augie :) glad you all like.

Ray, the decals are out of the spares draw. IIRC they came from a OEZ Mig-21 kit..

Currently doing one last thing on the bird, realised I missed the tail code on this one, so puzzling it together from bits of old decals
1. January 2015 at 11:15:21
Roger Trewenack Never seen a "Camo" Learjet before..... so that'd be a "What-If" subject? ;0
1. January 2015 at 12:01:27
Augie Ha sorry Roger, Its not a What-if.. Finish airforce use them.

1. January 2015 at 12:28:20
Roger Trewenack Wow, are you sure that's not your model on the runway?? ;)
Having seen what you've based it on, I'd say you've done very well!!!

Glenn . Ray the RVHP resin kits of the Learjet 35 are now in stock at Hannants and a few other places. RVHP resin kits have great fine detail i just brought a C-21A and another Beachcraft 1900 KingAir :)

Frank Krause Whooops... What's that, Augie?
You make me very curious about the planned paint scheme...
12. December 2014 at 21:49:52
Augie Hey frank :) well guess I have a bit of a Scandinavian feel going.. soo..

I was thinking cammo learjet.. especialy now the draken finished :D
12. December 2014 at 22:00:19
Augie So a strange second picture I know.. but.. well..

Having executive seating didn't make any scene to me, so going to build so equipment racks
13. December 2014 at 23:09:21
Augie as you can see equipment racks fabricated.. and in process of being detailed.. taking some liberties with it.. but looks good
19. December 2014 at 09:41:27
Guido Haesevoets freedom is good! :D I guess that not much will be visible once the fuselage is closed and as long as "it looks right", "it is right".

good luck!
19. December 2014 at 12:46:27
Augie :) thanks Guido, thats my thoughts too.. will be little visible but I wanted it to look slightly better than just some seats :)
19. December 2014 at 13:47:14
Christian Ristits Curious Paint Scheme... ;) Thumbs up!
28. December 2014 at 18:27:07

28. December 2014 at 18:40:16
Guido Haesevoets Gorgeous Augie, well done!
28. December 2014 at 19:02:42
Augie :D thanks guys, tho your talking shit lol.. the paint job on this bird is a crime..

It's taken me 3 different greens to get even near the right tone.. ended up being a Game colour called Goblin Green that was a near as I could get.

the rest.. not bad.. but not finished yet.. still need to do the lights and a few decals..

Nice kit, easy build. Basic cockpit lay out, and comfy seats for the passengers included. Can be modelled with the passenger door/ airstair opened. Very few detail on the outside but then: there's not much surface detail on the real plane either.
