Dave Ruddle Hello, do you have any tips on making this kit ? I made it about 15 years ago and it was lost in a house move, so I have bought it again. I remember that it needed a bit of artistic license to get it all to fit and look good, and I definitely needed MicroSol and MicroSet for the decals !

Dean Booth Hi Dave, Apologies about the delayed response. Tonight's been the first time I've logged in since March! The kit is very basic and the overall look is a little off; wheels are too small etc but I didn't need to adjust anything to fit. The new E30 M3 Beemax kit looks a lot better. You're right with the decals,I used alot of MicroSol and MicroSet and I think I used a hair dryer for the diagonal decals across the body but they went on fairly good considering they were the original decals. Hope that helps. Good luck.

Neilhrd I am trying to build this car from the Beemax kit and Studio 27 decals but I am stuck on the exhaust. The Beemax car is a Schnitzer built M3 which had a twin pipe exhaust. The Labatts car was a Vic Lee Motosport chassis which had a single pipe exhaust exiting on the right through a hole in the sill behind the door. Does anyone have reference photos of the pipes and silencers under the car? Thanks.
Marc Stecher Progress steps are gettin bigger. Learned, that when the body parts are painted building commences faster. But for cars, I have still a lot to learn.

Marc Stecher Still working on this one. The sheer amount of decals gives me the creeps.

Marc Stecher Me and this kit are never getting friends. My passion for race cars is not that big, that I can build a second one of these. I will complete this one because it´s promised to my daughter, but the black one is on sale/trade from now on. I´ll accept trucks, tanks or planes as trade in.
vincent coyne the wheels look good on these revell cars.if you strip the chrome of them

Marc Stecher Thanks mates! And yes vincent, once the chrome is off, the wheels look much better. They will get a silk black finish. Gareth, but be patient. This is my first car, I´m normally on warbirds, so it might take a while.
