The kit is very good indeed. And don't forget: this is not a competition, just a hobby. The only thing that counts is have fun and learn by doing. So let you get inspired by what others do, not discouraged. I often see master pieces which I would not think possible. Then I think: Maybe one day... Thanks for your comment anyway

@Acki: For figure painting, I mostly use acrylics from the Vallejo Model Color series. In this case, I based the leather color on their 70.982 Cavalry Brown.
