Bashed the Heller and Fujimi kits, turned out well.Made a RM Gazelle.I found that the exterior detail on the Heller kit is exellent but the rotor head and interior detail is superior on the Fujimi kit.Dont mention the aliens for crew.

HELLO GUYS, PLEASE HELP...
OK, here is one pretty long shot:
Does anyone have an extra windscreen/front part for 1/48 fujimi/heller Gazelle. I have an old box with broken clear part. Even if You have an ancient finished kit that You want to trash away... Ill take that too

Thank You for watchin'.
24. September 2014, 20:24
Nebojša Subotić
Why don't you try to contact Heller directly for damaged part, they just released their old Gazelle!
It's not the same kit as Fujimi, just to be sure, but who knows – maybe it can be mixed & fixed.
24. September 2014, 20:29
Vjekoslav Ranec
Are You sure it's not the same kit?
24. September 2014, 20:34
Nebojša Subotić
They are not the same kit - Fujimi is officially 1/48, and Heller was 1/50 – slightly smaller. Now they repacked it as 1/48. Cockpit section is different in construction, but that front big glass part is similar I think. Look for pictures on the web, you will see. Simple and old kits, but they can be very nice at the end.
24. September 2014, 20:50
Vjekoslav Ranec
Thank You for the info... So, in reality - I need Fujimi part.
24. September 2014, 21:06
Bart Goesaert
Maybe this is a cheap way out:

benl.ebay.be/itm/Ancienne-Ma..ures&hash=item486f15ec2e

If it should be too small, you can always use this canopy as a master to make your own with clear packaging material. Heat the packaging above a stove, and then pull it over the Heller part. Then there is some sanding and scraping, but in the end you'll have a decent canopy
25. September 2014, 08:40

Thanks Michel. It's a turbomeca Astazou. I used references from a French and British aircraft and noticed there where slight differences so its a mix of the two. Plus some artistic licence :) good luck with your MH-6

Nice kit, imho even better than the Fujimi Gazelle. There were slightly raised lines on the kit along which scheme you could brush-paint the box-art livery. A nice invention for the inexperienced modeller!
18. November 2012, 15:21
Juan M Leria
Two topics for the same thing: "westland gazelle" and "Aerospatiale Gazelle". I think should be merged as "Aerospatiale/Westland Gazelle"
4. June 2012, 15:56
Burkhard D
Why not just use Aerospatiale Gazelle? The General Motors FM is listed under the Grumman F4F Wildcat topic likewise.
4. June 2012, 16:20
Juan M Leria
It's not the same. The Wildcat is a Grumman design built by GM as sub-contractot, but the Gazelle was a cooperative Aerospatiale-Westland design, in equal terms.
4. June 2012, 17:18
Burkhard D
Following your logic we would have to put the Lynx and the Puma under the Aerospatiale/Westland label likewise. I don't think you want to go there :)
5. June 2012, 07:17
scalemates
I merged them... the exact naming can be discussed :)
5. June 2012, 07:43
Juan M Leria
Well, you are right up to a point, but the Lynx was a Westland design from the start with Aerospatiale having a 1/3 share (+ or -) in the building process and jsut for the French-ordered machines; and the Puma was just the same but inverted.
Anyway, if our British mates have no objections with 'Aerospatiale Gazelle', me neither.
