Nils Steyaert it was quite pleasent really, although a bit shakey.
its like sitting in a fishbowl on top of a shaking washing machine.
i think i got some pictures, but it will take some time to find them.

Jens Valkeneers Nice alouette! It is really one the most beautiful helicopters that the klu has been using. How is the quality of the decals?

Ekki Very good job! Is that the one that was flying at the Luchtmachtdagen 2013 at Volkel Air Base?

Wouter Roerdink Teh qualitu of the decals is good as usual. There is only a slight mistake. The decal on the nose and the two decals with type and constructionnumber should be white, as shown in the instructions, but are black. They are always present at the Luchtmachtdagen, but this one has the special livery of 50 years Alouette, as she flew this year. In fact there is one error in my model: this year it wasn't flying with an orange window, like when I built the model. This window, and I believe it was something they put inside the helicopter, was used when the queen was using the helicopter. But since we now have a king, who doesn't wear skirts, I haven't seen it anymore. Of course I could have left the specal fifty years decals of, but I liked them and I couldn't remove the orange paint anymore.

Jan Hazes I'm missing a few I heard they are planning a Grasshopper come back. This time as RC helicopters.

Glenn . A lot of Heller Helicopters are in fact 1/50 scale! but I think a lot of the boxes say 1/48!

Gertjan Zwart It wouldn't surprise me if the kit was even older, Holger. I remember buying it, must have been in the early 80's, and already thinking then the box and the box-art style looked really old!!

Glenn, that's right, the scales with Heller have been a bit of a mess all along. The Alouette III somehow is the worst of their catalogue in those days: it is not just slightly out of scale but really way off! I guess Heller had plans to aim for the younger modeller with this kit. Very rude and basic, completely different from f.i. their Lama, Gazelle and Puma.

Colin Burgess Hi Tim, That's one sweet Alou III, if the guy used the Heller 50th scale kit it's even more of a masterpiece, that kit is a shocker. If he used the Fujimi kit he had slightly less of a problem. I see he had the sense to use the Heller Alou II main rotorhead.
