Hi cliff if I was looking to get in formation on selling the 19th century beam engine and where would be the best place , just found one in the loft , the same as the one you have just made up , it's in box box not ripped but can see age , and sealed 05551-8 model, such a shame to keep up there when there are enthusiasts that could appreciate it , even still has the glue in box still in it lol

You should check out E-Bay. I saw a few there when I was researching my kit. I bought it at a vendor table at an IPMS show in Hamilton, Ontario last spring. Where are you located?

At the 2018 show yesterday, I found an old kit for $25 (left that one) and got a newer boxing for $10. Score!

Danke Bernhard! No, the engine is 1:1 from a museum, and the beer mate is made from MDF

WOHOOO!! Amazing! When I see the tiny parts with the 1 cent comparison, that is the part where you can count me out if I have to do this!!
Truly breath taking, and boy what skills for such tiny assembling.

Nicely done MDF beermate! Like a real one! What about modelling a glass of beer in this scale?
Really excellent job!

Oh...because I built it wrong. It was a fun build, though. Airfix also made a 4-stroke Engine that I have and am planning to do later this year.
