About:: Modelair is a retail model and hobby store that has been operated by the current owners, Richard and Nicola for the last twenty years. Situated in Newmarket at 12 Kent Street, with parking right outside the door with easy access to the motorway systems, Modelair is open 7 days. Monday - Friday 10am to 5.30pm Saturday & Sunday 10am to 4pm We learnt long ago that it is very difficult to try and cover too many of the hobby topics. The industry is so diverse, that we have actively moved towards covering a select number of products and doing these products well. Our core products are: Plastic model kits - all types Tamiya radio control cars, trucks & tanks Radio Control Aircraft/Helicopters Wargamming products Diecast model replicas Reference books and magazines Tools, paints and construction materials Dragon Action figures Airbrushing equipment Billings wooden boats We look forward to serving the needs of kiwi modellers now and into the future. All items listed as available are either on our shelf or available from a local distributor within 1-2 days.
