me109g10Whats that? Villers Bocage is 40KM from Wittmanns last battle. So the Marketing makes no sense again. Just to grab cash from people who know nothing about the Normandy battle and just know Wittmann and heard of the town Villers Bocage.... Also it is highly disputed that a Firefly shot Wittmanns Tiger 007, it is more likely that it was a regular british Sherman with a 75mm from behind left. You can check out Youtube as a source where many great historians and analysts debate about the evidence and which unit was where. So as a closure: Wittmann became a propaganda tool because of a battle at Villers Bocage on 13 June 44. He was killed 40KM East at Saint-Aignan-de-Cramesnil almost 2 MONTHS! later. So this package is just a cash grab done by the marketing dept. since his LAST battle was not even close (In the context of the normandy battle) to Villers Bocage. Grüße

me109g10Its kinda funny to me that they used the German Officer who is very known for this Boxart. It is from a picture from the fighting of Stalingrad 42/43. He damaged his Infantry badge because he lost his will to follow Hitler but continued to fight for his men. Very deep story and a sad one since he was with the 6th Army. Grüße

Top Agent PGG jr.Since the truck of this kit is based on the HobbyBoss version, the wheels should be plastic instead of rubber. Cannot say the same for the M2A1 gun though.
Regarding rubber wheels, the only bad ones I have are from Takom which can melt into the plastic. It is one of the reasons I have to discard any kit from Takom which has rubber wheels. Binned three German Civilian Car kits from Takom costing a total of SGD $75.00 and had to immediately sell the Volkswagen T3 van from Takom which the vehicle frame already had damage from the rubber wheels.

Steven Van DyckIf the vinyl parts are kept in their sealed bag it shouldn't be a problem, but unpack them and leave them on top of the styrene for a day and you will find an imprint etched in it.

me109g10It is a great value to money relationship BUT in Germany the package and the decals of the Wittmann Tiger are censored by paint. Its a shame that historic models have to be castrated like this. In this case its JUST A TIGER for a good price, but you WILL NOT be able to build the Wittmann one correctly. I am pissed by this fact. With a little patience you can at least restore the cartonage to the original without a fat black dot n it for the optics but the decals are trashed by the gestapo dudes who censor it. Its a shame because it would be a great value after all with the decals intact or at least some alternate decals that are slightly altered like other manufacturers do...

me109g10Bro this has to be a jok! Revell is such a grifter. 100 € for this? Its a 2 kit box in 1:72 with each kit being around 10 Euros. So 20 Euros. Plus paints and the small cement, so add 5 Euros. Means 25 Euro worth in the box for 100Euro in the market? No one will buy this crap. Nobody can tell me that the small shitty book is worth 75 Euros. I eman Make it 1:35 Dragon Tiger+T34 and its 100 Euro. But this, this is just a shame. Wie dreist von dieser Firma. Bringt fast nur noch Müll auf den Markt aber verlangt Premium Preise für ihre Bausätze aus den 90ern. Shame Revell! Grüße
