Very convincing effect on those formation lights, off-white looks great !

Hanno: Judging by the album pictures the off-white (or FS16515 Voodoo Grey that it actually is supposed to represent) seems to be not looking that great to me. I guess the white balance is to blame a lot since not a single picture is displaying the same shade of grey. And I am pretty sure Canadian Voodoo's did NOT carry ANY formation lights strips in ANY location. Not even present on the actual album image this build is to represent. Unless someone can provide an image with these strips installed on a Canadian Voodoo, I am sure this is wrong. So nice job on the color of the formation strips Bernhard, but not applicable to the Voodoo you are building.

Łukasz: who knows: maybe it will be my other favorite theme... There are hardly any completed models of buildings and there are no lighthouses. Today I looked at Shipyard and saw about a dozen more lighthouses🙂
Ronan: thank you for this great link. There is a very remarkable list of french lighthouses with great pictures. Consequently I spent more than one hour reading in Wiki about this lighthouses…

You question is very good. Hanno and I we talked about this question and we decided to paint the interiors green because the interior color you can seen on the original picture of the 2-MB-13 is rather green than alu. See please the teaser picture of my project.

Hi Bernhard, I checked my set of pictures and indeed even the earliest SBDs seem to have had interior green cockpits.
I have not decided which of the Marines SBDs I want to build yet. Maybe 2-MB-6, so as to complement your 2 builds...

Few days ago I discovered that MACO released a quarter scale plane kit (his first airplane kit). Today I received the box that I ordered three days ago and Im totally enthusiastic! An incredible detailing, precision of all parts including several sizes of rivets and crystal clear parts. The huge decal sheet is printed absolutely clearly and without offset! 12 points go to MACO.
