Hi folks. I have just got this for the new Airfix Vulcan. This is my 1st 3D Printed decal. There are no instructions in the pack. Do you apply them like normal decals? Or do you just cut them out and glue them onto the parts?

Hi Andrew I have found some pictures of 3 D decals on a 1/32 scale P-51D and it looks like there have removed them with water but I don't know myself as I am in the same situation as you are as I don't know.

I honestly don't know. I would try the regular way first. If it doesn't work, cut and glue

Treat them like any other water slide decal. They are thicker and therefore less flexible than a regular decal, so using a decal softening solution is helpful. You may want to remove any raised detail from kit parts before applying the 3D decals.

Hi mark. I did read somewhere that said. If you put them on like a normal decals. Do not use decal softening solutions. Just use water as a softening solution can ruin the 3d details. I guess I can try them out by doing the back seat area first. Most of the cockpit won't be able to be seen anyway.
