Late imperial Roman soldiers

Since I live near a beautiful hill with a Roman limes* tower site (parcovallelanza.mailchimpsites.com/TORRE)), I've always been interested in the Late Roman empire history.

In this project, just to take a break in building aircrafts, I would like to realize some Roman soldiers. I'm working on the 54mm scale, a good compromise.

* It's still debated if there really was a "Limes" in southern Alps. As a matter of fact, indeed, there are many archeological military sites between Milan and the pre-alpine lakes.
