Space Shuttle and 747 Carrier

Another kit that I used to learn and experiment things.

Problem and What I have learnt / improved on :
- First time I had to put on very, very, very long decals .... I learnt on the first one (that I completely messed up :/ !), but it went well on the second side ! that's why, there is only one side in the album showing 😄 !)
- Glue on paint really gets messy and is NOT a good way to go !! Found out when I had to assemble the shuttle on/above the 747... So I had to scrap off the paint and clear to put the glue... got messy and dirty... almost lost it all and nearly got everything to the trash at one point !
- taping was the part I spent the most time on : to get the small lines... that stages took me ages ! But, it was a good thing, and worth it, I'm quite satisfied. (I experienced using 'blu tack': it was a very, very, very bad idea... got all sticky with the paint, and the curve lines were not nice at all (I used only brushes to paint!) )
- the glass of the 747 is not fitting quite well (small gaps on each edge)
